Comprehensive career-related services delivered to youth and adults to increase skill levels, re-skill as necessary and, or obtaining industry-relevant certification or licensure and introduction to careers in the trades. 25 Bough in the Green District will be a hub per the Rhode Island Department of Labor & Training when live.
INTERACTIVE & IMMERSIVE LEARNING
We will partner with the University of Rhode Island College of Engineering, What Cheer Flower Farm and entities within the Blue & Green Economy space to power youth and adults with careers and industries of the future.
The Green District PVD will improve help to improve life and health outcomes, education and improve overall conditions in an area that has been underserved for over three decades.
COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT & CELEBRATION
The Green District will provide a sense of belonging and inclusivity that lends itself to growth, community engagement and celebration. The multi-purpose function hall and planned festivals, farmer's markets and family events will bring the community together
Agricultural and food production in the green district will create and provide job opportunities and encourage economic development in a state where less than 10% of food is produced within the state.
CULTURAL EDUCATION & TOURISUM
The Green District will provide a cultural experience museum telling the stories of the community in past and present bridging to cultural tourism offerings leveraging the rich cultural tapestry of New England.
